MLG Installs swissQprint Nyala 5 Flatbed to Expand Wide Format Capacity

McAllister Litho Glasgow (MLG) has installed a swissQprint Nyala 5 flatbed printer to handle rising wide format demand, diversify applications, and reduce running costs and consumables. The 3.2 × 2 m machine, configured with CMYK, white, and varnish inks plus roll-to-roll capability, reaches a top speed of 253 m²/h and supports substrates including 5 mm foam flooring for retail campaigns. Wide format now accounts for approximately 20% of MLG's business, following over £1 million invested in wide format capabilities over the past two years.
