Flax-fiber bio-based sandwich panels cured out-of-autoclave reduce energy costs but require tight control of resin impregnation and oven cycle consistency to meet load-bearing tolerances; the aluminum wear facing adds a secondary bonding step that must be validated for long-term durability under repeated cargo handling.
