Texas Tech Inducts Seshadri Ramkumar into Inaugural Red Raider Inventor Hall of Fame for FiberTect and Nonwoven Technologies

Seshadri Ramkumar, Ph.D., a professor in Texas Tech University's Department of Environmental Toxicology, was inducted into the school's inaugural Red Raider Inventor Hall of Fame on Oct. 28. He was recognized for inventions including FiberTect, a nonwoven decontamination wipe, a fabric hand method, soft body armor, and a cotton oil absorbent. Inductees are TTUS faculty and staff named on three or more U.S. patents issued to the Texas Tech University System.
