Liz Griswold Leads 'Salt City Deck' Sign Design for Syracuse Mets Stadium Patio

Liz Griswold, senior experiential graphic designer at EwingCole, led all naming, branding, and sign design for the 'Salt City Deck,' a new right-field patio area at the Syracuse Mets stadium. The sign features marquee-style lettering and a Syracuse skyline silhouette backer inspired by a salvaged Shea Stadium marquee, with a clear non-glare acrylic face protecting exposed marquee bulbs. The name references Syracuse's history as a primary salt producer and the team's "Salt Potatoes" nickname.
