Katherine Soucie released her Multi-Stream Upcycling Framework as a free visual resource on International Women's Day, adapted from her M.E.N.D framework covering Method, Evaluate, Navigate, and Design. The framework is intended to help makers, designers, artists, and small practices assess and work with multiple textile waste streams as part of a larger system rather than a single material pathway. Soucie is sharing the full framework as downloadable images with a credit requirement and is developing it into an online course and book.

Everybody.World's Trash Tees, made from post-waste plastic-free cotton with low-impact dyes, broke down in a compost pile until they were nearly unrecognizable by the third week. Weekly monitoring showed white fungal growth after one week and fiber thinning with holes at sleeves and seams after two weeks. Microscope samples of the finished compost and remaining fabric revealed protozoa, testate amoebas, mature fungal hyphae, fungal spores, ciliates, and aerobic bacteria.
